Magical Movie Night a Great Success!

The community really got behind this fund raising initiative of the Daylesford Cinema Group and magic happened the result of which was over $1,000 raised by the community to go towards redevelopment of cinema in Daylesford.

The event was a sell out. An audience of 50 was expected but volunteers had to quickly put out an additional to accommodate the 80 attendees! A hard working band of volunteers produced sumptuous canapes, pop corn, sandwiches and sausage rolls and somehow there was more than enough to go around. Daylesford Cider kindly donated spiced cider which when mulled produced a delicious Christmassy beverage. Cellarbrations generously provided beer and wine at a reduced price enabling a tidy profit to be made.

The grand finale was a visit from Santa who had gifts for all of the children attending in his Santa sack.
